About This Class

The summer intensive is a month-long course that meets three days a week for three hours. It is a tremendous opportunity to experience the beginning steps of Meisner based training in a professional environment. In five weeks you will learn all of Sanford Meisner’s foundational exercises, beginning with the renowned Repetition Exercise. Meisner’s step-by-step approach gets you to work truthfully from your impulses, not from your head, building a truthful instrument and a strong foundation that will last a lifetime.

Many students use this 5-week intensive to explore the Meisner Technique as well as EMAS to see if they are ready to commit to our long-term Meisner training program.

This class meets three times a week.

Classes are 3-4 hours and outside of class rehearsals are required.
