Sharif Atkins

Born in Pittsburgh, raised in Chicago, and living la vida loca in Los Angeles, Sharif has been working at this beautiful craft of acting for over two decades now. When he thinks about the Meisner Technique, he quotes a line from Godfather III, "Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in." Not only has Meisner for years informed and invigorated his own work, but it has also opened a new chapter in allowing him the ability to do what he absolutely loves: encourage actors to explore what it means and what it will require to be an actor. Sharif studied the Meisner Technique as well as his teacher training at EMAS. Blessed to have worked in TV, film and on the stage, he hopes to equip students through the Meisner technique and his professional experience with a strong foundation and an unquenchable thirst to continue digging deep.
